My family and I moved to Corvallis in 2016 as my wife was eager to get back home to Montana.  We were previously in New York City for nearly 25 years.  We have three children attending school here in Corvallis.  They are scheduled to graduate in 2019, 2022 and 2025.  Since moving to Corvallis, I’ve been involved in coaching soccer and am the treasurer of the Corvallis Community Coalition that supported the School District’s levy to purchase the adjacent REC property.

My professional background is in economics and finance.  I work in the investment banking industry, raising capital for publicly traded biotech and real estate companies.

For most of my adult life I’ve volunteered with various organizations to support my community.  I served on the West Side YMCA’s Board of Directors in New York City for nearly 10 years; the last 3 years serving as its chairman.  I also served for 2 years as co-chair of the parent-teacher association at my children’s former school.  Before that, I served on the board of the housing cooperative where we lived.

I look forward to contributing to our community by serving on the Corvallis Schools Foundation Board.”
